Lovely 2 Bed Duplex Apartment with Hydro Views

Location was great for us near the conference centre. It was easily walkable from the train station if you don't mind a walk. The kitchen is well stocked and it is great if you are staying for a few days to have a kitchen to cook in.

If you are a light sleeper be aware that a light up bill board is directly outside one of the bedrooms and so can hinder sleep, especially as the blinds were falling down and I was worried to use them. Outside there is a strong smell of urine, I don't know where it comes from, but it wasn't a useable space for us. On the face of it the apartment is great, it just needs some maintenance e.g. fix blinds, fix bed so it doesn't make a loud noise when you roll on it, ensuite shower doesn't drain, some mould in areas around windows etc.

We booked this property because of its proximity to the conference centre. It proved convenient as we could walk there in 5 mins. The apartment is spacious. They left cofee-tea which was great.

I don’t think that this place is as safe as it seems. On our last night at around 2 am someone started kicking the doors while screaming at the top of his voice. The scene lasted pretty long and no one came up. The guy kept screaming and climbing up all floors banging on doors. We didn’t know how to contact the security wardens. It was scary.

Lovely finishes and great location

Water temperature kept fluctuating and someone else was parked in the designated parking space.

Place is fantastic

Really lovely, well appointed Duplex in a secure gated complex. The owner was very helpful and apologetic when we had a slight problem on arrival. Would definitely use again if we return to Glasgow.

Good location. Spacious. Clean. Safe.

The front door key opening is a challenge. Momentarily, you feel you are stuck in or out. Shower controls are faulty in both, and kids really struggled to shower- either super hot or cold. Arrival instructions were clear. Key collected from a locker on opposite road. Owner contacted me on phone on arrival to check time of arrival. After that, there was no response to call or messages.Zero response. Luckily, we didn't have any major issues. Self check-in and checkout.

Looks luxurious, large kitchen/living room area, very comfortable beds. Nice views.

Broken shower controls in both bathrooms, hard to regulate water temperature. Not the cleanest space. There was no A/C, and the rooms got very warm in the afternoon- but perhaps this is a bit atypical weather for Scotland.

The apartment was clean and tidy, and located in a secure, gated residential complex with 24-hour security. I would like to thank the owner for their attentiveness and quick response in resolving any small issues that arose during my stay. Overall, I had a pleasant and comfortable experience and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful and secure place to stay in the area.
