Brekka í Lóní Farm Stay

This place is wonderful and idillic! It’s on the owners farm and I was greeted by sheep, horses, and ducks. Finding where to check in took a few minutes as it’s in their main house, but I was kindly helped and pointed in the right direction by someone who was tending to the horses on the farm, all in close proximity. Once checked in a very sweet woman walked me to my room and gave me instructions for checkout the next day. They offered breakfast (just confirm the night before) for a very cheap price by Iceland hotel standards. I did not partake though as I had a very early morning planned. The room was great! I was in room 4 which had two windows facing the water and sheep pasture. Very clean, comfortable, huge, and had a full kitchen with coffee. Free Wi-Fi as well. The beds were very comfortable and the room was just adorable! Pull down blinds available on every window if needed. As this was an old barn converted, it was very quiet as it was built from concrete. I think only 5 rooms in total available so it’s peaceful and a nice break. I would absolutely recommend this place and hope to come back! I did not want to leave.

It was really cool staying at an old farmhouse. I thought all the amenities (other than wifi) were very nice and the location was very convenient.

The farm stay was clean and had all that we needed after a long day of driving and exploring along the Ring Road. All of the basic necessities were available. WiFi was fast. The area is quiet and conveniently located immediately off the ring road. We had dinner in Höfn before checking in for the evening as there are not any restaurants immediately next to the farm.

A bit further than we needed to go, but it has a beautiful view and the rooms were so much nicer than I thought they would be. The building keeps its charm, but you wouldn’t know the room used to be a stable.

We loved staying at Brekka ì Loni Farm! Our room was very modern, new and clean. It had windows with amazing views that we enjoyed in the evenings. There is a kitchen with everything you might need to make a meal. Bathroom was big and comfortable. The same goes for the bedroom. I would highly recommend staying there.

Cute little place to stop at for a night. Olga was very kind. Room was clean and comfy.

We had a lovely stay at this Guest house. Beautiful rooms located on a farm with a beautiful view. Convenient location not too far from city like hofn for dinning options. Our room was quite cozy with comfy bed and modern bathroom and shower. Once it came time for check out we unfortunately could not locate the owner and we ended up having to leave the key at the door. We hope it was okay. Thank you!
