Had everything you needed and was comfortable

Spacious and comfortable.

No information about lighting the fire, or wood , weren’t sure if we could use own wood but decided not to just in case chimney not in use ? No big issue but would make it cosy . The heating system was excellent anyway. Location of keypad could be clearer - references to steps led us to believe keys were at the rear of the property when the key box was at the front door.

Location, and facilities.

Cleanliness, a little improvement as I'm sure someone was paid to clean it.

The cottage was well placed for exploring the area with easy parking. Comfortable accommodation generally. Well fitted out. Reilly's shellfish in the harbour was great. Good butcher and baker and well stocked co-op store close by. Good places to eat and drink in the village. Village museum and parish church worth a visit. Good walking and beach within walking distance and others close by. Lots of lovely harbours to visit and some unusual places too. Will be back to the area.

Mondays and Tuesdays the Shoregate pub and chip shop are closed we would have liked to be there to try both, our fault we didn't earlier in the stay . Still the Golf Hotel gave good service. The shower was over the bath which we didn't dare try without a handrail to hold on to for climbing in.
