"Well presented and located"

7.0

Clean, well presented, comfy beds. Great location for West Cowes and the Red Jet. Feels recently refurbished, which was good.

Water was intermittent, often going off in the middle of a shower; wifi was poor, rooms are very small. Too small for six people.

"Great little gem in Cowes"

10.0

House Is really clean cosy and freshly renewed. Location is really nice. Stairs are narrow so keep in mind if you gave disabilities or small kids. Bedrooms really nice, living area comfortable and kitchen really functional. 2 bathrooms clean and functional as well.

Struggling to find something here. If I really have to mention something maybe some products to shower. All other cleaning products were available.

"It could not have been better and many thanks to Emma and her team for arranging everything so well."

10.0

The break was self-catering but the house was well provisioned with all the basics needed and there was much more than expected or available at similar properties elsewhere. The townhouse was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a secluded, sheletered rear garden to use when weather permitted. Ideal for the dogs to sit out in, too. The property is close to the harbour, marinas, floating bridge (when it operates) and a great high street, with an interesting variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Within 50 yaerds is a friendly pub, the Duke of York, with a wide selection of real ales and good pub grub, particularly all-day breakfasts. The idea of moving to Cowes permanently is appealing! Free wi-fi and three TV sets also a bonus as the weather in late January meant fewer outdoor excursions.

Parking nearby could be a bit difficult but we always found a space eventually. Three flights of steep stairs meant taking care but the house was so well-decorated and comfortable that even negotiating them to reach bedrooms, kithchen and bathrooms were minor issues for my wife despite her arthritis. She is keen to go back to Driftwood House.

"A cozy cottage, very close to town centre"

9.0

Comfortably furnished, cute and cosy accommodation Pleasant garden Quiet location but very close to all local amenities, ferry port, etc Nice bedding, huge comfy duvet Great size kitchen diner Big TVs Modern clean kitchen appliances Milk, tea, coffee, sugar and cleaning products in kitchen on arrival Modern, clean shower rooms

Very minor points, none of which spoilt our trip: Limited storage in bedrooms, no drawers/ wardrobe due to size of rooms Modern washing machine but no tumble dryer or drying rack/ line Cookware limited: No baking dishes, only one baking tray, had to buy disposable foil trays for our stay. Definitely not enough to cater for 6 people Internet strength low in kitchen and upstairs, could use a booster from the lounge Heating thermostat takes a bit of getting used to Property info guide at the cottage was very useful, but would have been helpful to have this invitation provided prior to arriving
