Great apartment, good location, good appliances, outstanding kitchenware. Messages answered within a few hours. Generally responsive service. They offered a dinner for a minor problem. I declined. They offered to move me to a bigger unit. I thought moving would be too much hassle, so I declined.

Dishonest description. Said "... apartment is consisted of of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom ... " Not true, there is only one room. I asked several times that they correct this. I said that I could not give a good review unless it was corrected. Inexplicably, they would not correct it. I checked recently. It still says "... apartment is consisted of of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom ... " Price gouging: I reserved and paid for one occupant. It was about $100 more for two. Then I asked about having a second occupant. They wanted $400 ($50 per night). !!! (Finally agreed to $125). When I found out that there was only one room, (from another review), I had to un-invite my friend, after he had bought a non-refundable plane ticket. The dishonest description caused a lot of angst. Said " ... 1 bathroom with a bath and a shower." Not true, but his was corrected. The shower is in the bath, which is very high and there are no grab-bars. I am not disabled, but I am 82. I had a lot of trouble getting in and out of the shower safely. Tiny kitchen table. No good place to eat. Unreliable elevator. It's on the 8th floor. Never answered the phone, so I could not get quick help with things like the Internet password. Generally answered messages within a few hours, generally responsive. But, after I asked them several times to correct the listing, I got a long, very nasty message, then zero response afterwards.

To go 8 floors up with luggages due to elevator not working. But I understand it's an older building and it happens, but the place was very charming and full of character. The host was amazing very helpful and kind.

The place had good views and the apartment was cozy. Enough utilities like microwave, stove, plates etc to make it feel like home.

Everything with our stay at the apartment was great. It was very easy to self check-in with the given instructions. The apartment itself looks nice, stylish and cosy, and when we stay there it felt like staying at home not a hotel. The building itself is listed on historic monuments list, and one of the elevators is an old type. The apartment is perfectly located close to the public transport (that we were using a lot), conference centre, Aquarium of the Pacific, restaurants and shops, fairly close to the city beach, and it is 35-minute walk to Queen Mary. There is a stunning view from the window that one can see other buildings (at the sunset shining in pretty colours) and the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary things (loved especially the coffee machine), and for example there is a water filter in a fridge. Bathroom was nice and clean with good quality toiletries (smelled like strawberries maybe?). The beach towels were also available. The WiFi was exceptional; we watched some movies online and one day we were on two online meetings simultaneously. There is a laundry facility in the building on the top floor, and actually the view from the roof is also something that one should see. I think that was one of my best places that I have ever stayed! Thank you so much!!!

Great location and clean and tidy, lovely views

Listed as 1 bedroom and living room. There is not a bedroom, just a sofa bedin the living room. Fine for a couple but we were friends and one of us used a very comfy air bed. Communication was great though and they bought us brand new bedding as soon as we asked
