Leaving and getting my deposit back and taking a shower at home to rid the small and dirt away.

What was meant to be a night to celebates a friends wedding quickly turned into a disaster No WiFi, so no TV. Phone signal was non existent, had to switch a device that appeared to be a wifi box on and off. Managed to get some WiFi after 3 hours. The cooker did not work despite best efforts Had to hold breathe coming through communal hallway as there was a distinct smell The phone of the property owner was off. The whole weekend. Tried numerous times to get in contact. Even tried the ring doorbell. No response. Damp smell from the tiny bedroom. It was so small the door had made a dent in the side of the bed from previous residents. Crack in sink, in the bathroom. Mixer tap shower. . . Kitchenette lounge area smelt odd. Windows didn't lock. Back door jammed. To be shocked by the state of the garden was an understatement. Another distinct smell of something outside. There is more... The photos are just a small glimpse. Great location close to Southsea sea front, adequate parking and easy self check-in to flat with key box. £200 deposit paid and fully returned upon checkout, good communication from the host and easy to get in contact with if required! Flat is furnished well but could do with a few things fixing to make perfect. Complimentary toiletries and tea/coffee/biscuits was a nice touch I wasn’t expecting!

Shared entrance hall with other flats could do with a freshen and tidy up.

Lovely small flat, nice sheets, towels and complimentary coffee, biscuits and shampoo etc... which was a lovely touch. The location is excellent! The instructions for the flat were great.

I didn't expect the £200 deposit and I think this is extortionate. Bed was very soft for me.

Not enough towels small one each Sofa bed extremely uncomfortable and broken Tv signal not adequate Wi-Fi always dropping signal Garden unclean, had to fix fence, bbq filthy so never used (reason we booked) Beer bottle left in garden Dodgy plug sockets Outside Hallway stunk and messy bins outside of property made the are down trodden

This booking was a joke, wasting my resources, gaining stress and put my partner and my little son in danger place.

This flat is in the basement where no ventilation system, no fan provided, dirty rooms, chairs, broken fence and back door means no safety of customer, sick place, with high rate £140 plus they requested £200 deposit for this sick accommodation, no car parking permit given, no access/keys given on time until i called booking.com. The big lies in the published property description. I wonder how Booking.com approved this poor accommodation. Lots to say more but in summary, I will strongly recommend not to book this property. NOTE: after calling booking.com we got keys for the flat, we entered in and looking the dirty, sick and unsafe rooms, we immediately left the property and booked Holidays inn hotel for our stay.

Excellent location Handy that you could buy parking permits

-There was a massive pile of Garbage outside of the building -The hallway leading to the flat looked dirty and didn't smell good at all -There is a steep staircase leading down to the flat, not easy with luggage -Wasn't cleaned well, we found some sticky/gel like stuff on the counter. The outside part was full of cobwebs and had an Ash tray full of cigarette butt's. -the "pull out couch" isn't stable at all, if you roll to one side of it, it completely tips over when pulled out.

Location was perfect. Right by the beach. Nice and clean apartment.

Parking was a bit of an issue. Although I paid for parking, by the time I got back every night, all the parking spaces were taken and had to drive around for ages trying to find a spot.

A quarter roll of toilet paper is being provided. We had to run out to get toilet roll after a whole day of traveling. Owner acknowledge is a mistake but stated that usually 1 roll is provided per check in. We have four people and stayed two nights. We asked for later check out, like an hour later than standard 11 am. Owner is not flexible, he said I can stay for £25 per hour extra. Strict policy when you need a place for luggage until your next trip. Overall, the place is OK. It's cozy and fairly clean. Bed is hard, my husband and I got bad back after sleeping in the hard bed for two nights. They also charge a refundable deposit of £200. The biggest issue we encounter during our stay is the bathroom light is not working. Owner left a lamp and extension cord to run the light from the living room outlet. This is dangerous if you not are careful. This will not be allowed in the USA because of the risk of electrocution. We had to use flash light to go to the bathroom.
