Miraflores - Seaside Villa with private Garden in Siargao

The only positive was the breakfast, which was nice. Because of the overall poor conditions, we decided to leave early. To be fair, the landlord did offer a refund right away, which we appreciated, but the stay itself was far below expectations.

Unfortunately, my experience at Miraflores was very disappointing. The access path to the accommodation was extremely poor, and even with a small rented scooter it was almost impossible to drive. The location felt unsafe, as it is right next to a work site with people around all day. The photos online made the house look much nicer than it actually was. The bathroom had mold in the shower, and every time we used it, the water smelled terrible—almost like sewage. The rooms were also extremely small and not convenient or comfortable at all.

Everything is perfect. The host is so excellent specially when you need any assistance from day one until depsarture. They response quickly make sure everything you need is there.

Really nice house with comfortable beds and garden. It’s close to some good restaurants or to the beech. We really appreciate the communication with the host, fast reply and really friendly! We received lots of great tips for places to visit and restaurants nearby. We can only recommend this accommodation!

We liked the location tremendously! The beach in 4 min walking distance is stunning. The town is quite but vibrant with very good cafés to chill. If you are looking for the busyness of GL, you were still quite easily down there. The hosts were very responsive, they helped organise pickup from the airport, rent motorbikes and made sure we always had water to drink. The house was clean when arriving and they cleaned several times during our stay. The garden is well maintained and gives great privacy as it is gated. The house is new.

You would get more use of the terrace if there was some additional bamboo shades. The sun was so hot from 11 to 4 pm so that you couldn't stay there. Evenings were nice to chill though. Aircon and fan were quite noisy, which made it difficult to leave them on when inside, especially during the night.
