Hmmm.... communication was very poor. The manager (manager is not on site, available on WhatsApp) responded very late to my requests and questions - or did not reply at all. Reception staff ( no emglish spoken, just translation apps and not much will to communicate) would only advise me to communicate with her during my stay, so i did not feel well attended, since my messages were not responded. However, i managed to book tickets for my activities from external sources ( on their welcoming message they invite you to book with them). I also arrived early and waited at the hotel's sofa, even without being informed that I could do that. So if you are arriving with the morning bus at 4-5 am, rest assured that you have access to their lobby, with sofas in an open space area and you can wait there, use a bathroom or change before your hike.. To be fair, on my departure, since I kept messaging, the manager assisted me to book a bus out, to keep my luggage in Sapa and wanted to make sure i was on the right bus. I realised she is kind and helpful, but, prior to my arrival and during my stay she was not there for some reason. Inefficient communication was not the worst thing though.The coooooold in the room...! No heating at all and the cold was unbearable. I was there in January and, thankfully, I had a spare bed in my room, so also a spare duvet to use. Still i was very cold. 1 night there was more than enough, i am surprised they are open during winter - without any heating devices in the room.

The receptionist and the staff are super helpful and very accommodating. They really took the time to tend our needs.

The accommodation is really close to Cat Cat Village, which is nice!

Some things everybody needs to know before booking. We booked the family room, which was supposed to have two separate beds and a stunning view. During the day, no one replied to my messages via the booking chat or WhatsApp. Upon arrival, there was no one there to check us in. When we finally found the host, he told us that they had double-booked the room and we were being downgraded. The offered compensation was 100,000 dong, but we had screenshots showing a 200,000 dong price difference from the day we booked. After some discussion, he finally agreed to the 200,000 dong discount. Also, please note: the beds are extremely hard. If you have any back problems, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than one night.

Breakfast was just as great. There were options to choose from, served generously and tastes great! The coffee was very good.

We reserved 3 rooms. We just had an issue with one middle room having musty smell

We got completely different rooms than we booked, there were no bungalows, one room had no windows, it was cold and damp, there was an unpleasant smell, all the things were damp after staying there
