La camera era bellissima, non aveva riscaldamento ma ci tornerei a occhi chiusi. Unica nota dolente, Dzung, che penso fosse la proprietaria, non rispondeva mai e non si è mai presentata, per cui è stato molto faticoso organizzare i tour da lei proposti. Non solo... noi ne avevamo scelto uno e ce ne ha fatto fare un altro. Nota positiva invece l'aiuto costante di Mr Duy, chiedete subito il suo numero e parlate con lui, molto più disponibile e propositivo!

The front staff/receptionist (a guy) is quite sluggish. He could not communicate well enough with guests and his ability to use the translation app is so slow. The worst part is that when we told him before the day we check-out that we will check-out early in the morning (6am) to catch the morning bus from Sapa to Hanoi and we asked him to prepare a simple breakfast to go for us (like a sandwich) as we do not have time for bf at the guesthouse. We showed him the photo of a simple sandwich but he just told us that there was no such bread, no cheese and did not offer any choice. Finally we told him to prepare just about anything for us and emphasized that it must be ready no later than 6am. Anyway, the next morning we came down to the lobby a little before 6am to find that the lobby was empty and dark. I called out to ask if anyone was there.and a few minutes later he just appeared behind the counter with sleepy face. We asked for the bf we ordered in advance since last night and he just said that no cook is on duty. Just like that. It's so annoying to communicate with him and as the taxi has arrived to take us into town we just ignored him and left. Another thing is that there are holes in the ceiling and the sound of rats running around.

Purtroppo non siamo mai riusciti a goderci la vista dalla stanza per via del meteo, ma sicuramente sarebbe stato un elemento estremamente positivo. Il personale è sempre stato cortese e disponibile.

All' arrivo ci è stato detto che la camera che avevamo prenotato non era disponibile, peccato però che ci abbiano dato una camera la metà più piccola e allo stesso prezzo, oltretutto avevamo fatto l'upgrade apposta per avere più spazio. La camera era fredda, era presente solamente un coprimaterasso e un piumino leggero, per cui abbiamo avuto un po' di freddo durante la notte, costringendoci a dormire con una felpa. La stufetta disponibile in camera funzionava solamente alla potenza minima. Il letto era veramente duro, abbiamo fatto fatica a stare comodi, però capisco sia anche una sensazione personale. Una cosa che oggettivamente non ci é piaciuta é l'assenza di un divisorio, anche solo una tenda, tra la doccia e il water, per cui ogni volta che si faceva la doccia si bagnava praticamente tutto il bagno, che avendo dei pavimenti in pietra (freddissima quindi con l'acqua) peggiorava la sensazione di freddo. Oltretutto il pavimento bagnato impediva anche solo di entrare con delle calze. Segnaliamo in aggiunta che l'homestay é abbastanza lontana dal centro e abbiamo avuto qualche fatica a muoverci con Grab, comunque era chiaramente scritto in altre recensioni, per cui lo avevamo tenuto in conto e ci eravamo organizzati.
