OYO Hostel Myeongdong 6

Well located, very close to exit 3/4 of Myeongdong station on the subway and easily walkable to the food/shops. Quiet during the evenings and night mostly which was pleasant. The room was a decent size with plenty of luggage space, the bathroom is a wet room but with a curtain so not everything gets soaked. Clean but the linen and towels weren’t white so stains could be hidden. Common area was spacious with free tea and coffee. Free breakfast was limited but the Malaysian kaya jam made for very good toast in the morning! Also recommend the coffee shop directly opposite. Good value for money but we stayed during off season so quite cheap.

Nothing really. We did stay in another property in Hongdae at another point in our trip and think we preferred Hongdae to Myeongdong as an area.

Its a great location for the underground and for shopping. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are really clean and have really comfortable

The pillows too high and hard.

立地:明洞駅からのアクセスはとてもいい。数十メートル内にコンビニ/スーパーがある。帰り道でソウルタワーを眺められる。繁華街の反対側にいるので入り口は静かだった。 設備:日本式(中国式も同じ)のコンセント口とtypeCのコンセントがあり、変換プラグが不要。テレビ代りのプロジェクターの解像度が高い。 部屋:広くないが閉塞感はない。ホステルと書いているがちゃんと個室である。 朝食:牛乳/コーヒー/パン/シリアル/ジャムは取り放題。(皿とカップは自分で洗ってください) スタッフ:深夜は人がいないが日中が地下のフロントにいる。英語でコミュニケーションできます。頑張って韓国語喋ったら褒めてくれます。

騒音:隣の音はあんまり気にならないが、窓がない部屋は換気ファンとエアコンを常時稼働していたため(一応オフにすることが可能で、自分の意思でつけています)、夜でも音が気になる。ただしフロントで貸し出しの耳栓がある。 ランプ:エアコンのランプ、換気ファンのランプ、鏡の照明のスイッチのランプはどれも消せない。夜は目隠しとかアイマスクを使ったほうがいい。 (気になる人向け:トイレにウォッシュレットがない。夜中にスタッフがいない)

Super location! Small and clean room with good aircon.

Breakfast.

The room was small but had plenty of storage space, making it easy to keep everything organized. The bathroom was tiny but functional and comfortable. For a stay of a couple of days, it was more than enough. The breakfast was very simple but tasty, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Myeongdong, yet on a side street, so it stays surprisingly quiet despite the central location.

The bed was very comfortable however, the bedding was made of a synthetic material that felt quite warm.
