The Double Decker, The Kove, Bournemouth Beach

Location was as described

No heating. Two kids and a wife, absolutely freezing on probably the coldnest night so far. Couldn't turn radiators on and couldn't get hold of the owner. Multiple text messages and calls sent with no response. Shower/toilet room stunk.

Parking

Location. Beds were comfortable.

Hairs in upstairs bed. Also in upstairs bed was a half a bottle of fizzy drink, a sock and a dirty make up wipe, which makes us think the bed wasn't even changed. The toilet had a funny sewer smell to it which was dissapointing because it looked nice. The hot and cold tap were around the wrong way which could of been dangerous had we not noticed when the children were washing thier hands.

Fairly clean, nice space for two. We’ll decorated and modern.

Room temperature was far too hot without being able to adjust it. Shampoo dispensers we’re broken in the shower room and couldn’t get it out. Previous occupants leftover takeaway food in the fridge, this was a little gross. Trouble with parking, the padlock on one of the parking bays malfunctioned and after calling and texting the contact number we couldn’t get through.

Location only positive

Not suitable for 5 adults, could only watch TV though app. Cleanliness mouldy dinner found in microwave. Wet room floor takes hours to drain so a floor sqeegy would be beneficial also door is water drenched. So swollen not shutting properly. Taps plumbed wrong on basin and no plug. Only 3 towels for 5 adults left. Host said he would send someone to sort tv 1hr 30mins later tried calling again number goes to voicemail.
