FRLe petit déjeuner préparé avec gentillesse par la soeur de Gita était très bon. Il mériterait tout de même d'être un peu plus copieux. La piscine est un vrai plus, mais la lumière ne fonctionne pas. La localisation est bien, et l'endroit assez paisible par rapport aux bruits général d'Ubud.
L'ensemble mériterait un rafraichissement. La salle de bain n'est pas très fonctionnelle. Les oreillers et draps sentaient un peu l'humidité.
ROStaff were great, helpful, responding, kind. Large rooms. Nice large terrace, great shade for the hot days Nice and clean pool. Water dispenser free of charge (unlimited refills). Mosquito repellent in each room! 5 minutes walk to warungs, restaurants, coffeeshops, laundries, bike rent, yoga, massage saloons (not really SPS like they call them). You can order massages at the villa (though they won't bring a massage table, rather have a head support for the bed). Owner's brother can provide transportation- he drives well. But! Check prices in the market so you are able to negotiate well. We felt a bit scammed! A GRAB bike can pick you up from a 1 minute walk from the villa. 5-10minutes walk to the main street (pick-up point for taxis) 30minutes walk to Ubud Palace (or less if you're not travelling with a baby). The villa actually looks better than the pictures show.
The Villa should be better maintained! A lot of small things need fixing (not complicated things!) The walls should be painted properly! First cleaned of mould stains!!! Bathrooms are outdated and should be cleaned thoroughly with specific substances to take out the limestone on the sinks, showers, faucets. The nice idea of having pebbles around the shower is nice only for marketing. We found a big piece of glass by mistake, luckily not stepping on it! Breakfast is very basic and quite small - banana pancakes OR omelet/scrambled eggs (made from 1 egg!) or fried rice and different fresh fruits. Cleaning: done only if asked and quite superficial to be honest (so always verify, especially if you are travelling with kids). Towels and sheets - quite old. They were clean but with old stains. They were white some years back. Kitchenette is not the best equipped (I suggest buying a new dishes sponge for each long stay) and needs thorough cleaning of the counter and in the cabinets.
