Taking the rubbish out the morning after my stay was not easy as I had alit of luggage.

The kitchen was fully equipped, they even had bathroom toiletries and beach towels.

The double bed could do with a new mattress.

The key box access was not straightforward- could be simpler by numbering the boxes

The location is perfect. Plenty of amenities nearby and the beach and promenade are only 5 minutes walk. There are some lovely touches with the apartment - hair straightener as well as a hairdryer, a few beers in the fridge and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool.

There were a few things that let the stay down for us. 1. When we arrived the key was not in the safe box. We had estimated an 8pm arrival at the point of booking but we got there at 7.30pm. The key should be available at the check in time of 3pm. 2. We only got one set of keys. There should be two keys supplied. 3. While the apartment was very clean overall, we found a big piece of broken glass under the couch. We had a 12 month old baby with us so thankfully he didn't find it before us. The rest of apartment was spotless. 4. Kettle - there were lots of utensils but no kettle. I emailed the apartment contact about this and have still got no response. We purchased a kettle ourselves in the end. 5. Noise - there was a terrible amount of noise coming from either the apartment next door or the apartment above us. It sounded like moving furniture. It was pretty constant and really loud. Again if you have a baby who is a light sleeper then it would be a big problem. 6. Air Con - there is no air con in the apartment. There are fans in the bedrooms but we couldn't get them to work. It was OK in winter but I think it would be too hot in the summer
