The Don Apt, Greenstone

I didn’t like anything about the property. I didn’t even stay an hour there. I lost my money. I had to find another property as it was nothing like the advert.

Everything. The apartment, the reception I got and the fact that there were other people living there and it was nothing like as it was advertised. I was deserved and lost my money in the process. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go live there.

Nothing

Smells bad, owner is rude and obnoxious, can’t take keys for the accommodation, need to report to owner whenever you want to enter or exit, owner recalls the gate codes and makes life unbearable

The Don Apt is not a hotel it is someone's flat who decide to rent it out on weekends there is no privacy there the person is in an out the place sharing kitchen with her m really disappointed in you booking .com you supposed to specify there was no privacy at all

We stay with the owner of the house there was no privacy for me and my partner

The booking was not as expected. We thought we were getting a entire apartment not just a room with other guests in the same apartment. No privacy, we stayed only one night and moved on

This is a townhouse in a townhouse complex. It has two floors. The owner lives on the upper floor and the guests stay in the lower floor which also has the kitchen and living room area. There is one bedroom with an en suite shower and toilet. The owner(Abigail) will provide an extra room upstairs upon request. There are also two shady parking bays and open parking available. There is a swimming pool somewhere in the complex but generally from April to September it is too cold to swim. If you are happy that the owner lives in the house upstairs and shares the kitchen, then it is pretty good value for money, very central and in a safe gated village. It is about 15 minutes from the main airport and has a shopping mall 500 meters away and a larger shopping complex 2.9 kilometers away. I spent 5 weeks here and my daughter spent 2 weeks, it was almost like being in our own home.

The main roads nearby can be noisy, and from time to time in the late evening, inconsiderate people living in or visiting in the complex would drive past with their car windows open and their music turned up loud enough to wake the dead. There are rolling blackouts that have been imposed on the country by the electricity supplier. These blackouts can last up to 4 1/2 hours two to three times per day. Abigail should consult with an electrician to set up an emergency power supply which at least powers the lights and one or two outlets for laptop, cellphone chargers etc.

Our stay was a nightmare as we had someone living upstairs after requesting the entire apartment. To be alone. There was lots of personal stuff in the cupboards and fridge lije the orner will be close by. A lady ws continously up and down the stairs which made us very uncomfortable as we are seniors. No emergency light as there was load shedding. She came with the light on the second day

Sorry the above is what we did not like. That apartment is ideal as the location is good but not under those circumstances Can never rent an apartment with the kitchen full of the owners stuff. 🙄
