Villa Oro by Villa Plus

My husband, 3 children(20, 18 & 17) spent a relaxing winter break in Villa Oro for 1 week. Lovely, comfortable accommodation in a perfect location adjacent to shops, restaurants & seafront( all a short 5 to 10 min walk). The villa contained 3 spacious bedrooms(not ensuite), 2 bathrooms & good facilities, ie. Washing machine, coffee maker, iron, toaster, etc It's located in a quiet residential area but yet quite central. The pool & pool area are quite small but definitely adequate. The table tennis was a fantastic addition as my husband & teenagers got hours of entertainment using it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would certainly recommend this villa to other families or groups of friends.

1. I felt that there could have been a few extras such as tea towels & dish cloths in the kitchen..hand towels for bathrooms. 2. Some extra blankets or duvets as it did get a bit chilly at night time[ the villa wasn't cold but I feel some people like heavier bed linen]

It had everything we needed, ground floor room & walk in shower for my Nan made it perfect

The floors are very slippery and dangerous with no floor mats around & nothing to use on the floor in the bathrooms accept towels which we didn’t want to put on the floor.

WiFi could be better we had to use our own and have it upstairs 🙄

Just the WiFi

The villa is really nice, located in the north of Puerto del Carmen. Ideal for a privatised holiday without sharing pools, loungers, etc. 5-10minute walk downhill to the main strip of restaurants, bars, beaches - with grocery shops less than a 5 minute walk away. We didn’t really feel the need to leave the villa much except at night for dinner, we enjoyed sitting by the pool all day in the sun :)

No negative comments, we had a great stay and the villa is great

Our stay at the Villa Oro was very nice . We are 2 pensioners, so the unheated pool was much too cold for us. We contacted the owners and they turned on the heating in the pool for us. Our flight was in the evening and we were allowed to stay in the villa till 4 in the afternoon instead of checking out at 10 o'clock in the morning. For this and the heated pool, thank you Villa Oro people. It is only a ten-fifteen min walk to pubs and restaurants. The walk back is uphill so a taxi home is useful and only 2 or 3euro. we enjoyed our stay. They looked after us well so thank you Regards Martin and Teresa Dublin
