The property was ultra clean, very handy to beach, and restaurants but in a quiet location. The owners were helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I would stay there again as would my travelling partners.

There was nothing I did not like.

The decor is lovely - really understated and calming. I love the retained retro touches and the feature wallpaper in the bedroom. The location is fantastic - a few minutes walk to the beach and eateries. Parking right outside the door is great. Great view of the Maunga.

The wallpaper in the bedroom needs resticking. The sofa bed was so comfy but the bedding didn’t fit. I couldn’t get the fitted sheet to lie flat and I couldn’t find a duvet cover that fitted the duvet.

"We enjoyed our one night stay here but would not want to be there for a long stay."

It is very handy to Mauao and the township and there is a great view of Mauao from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. A lot is fitted into a relatively small space taken by the apartment.

There was actually only one bedroom with another small double bed in the sunroom adjacent to the open lounge and the couch can also be used as a bed.

It's difficult to improve on the facilities & comfort of this apartment only 250m from the beautiful beach. It had everything including a coffee making machine. The host was very responsive to all messages and enquiries. With abundant restaurants and eateries so close there's no need to prepare dinners. But even if you need to, it has excellent cooking facilities and plenty of utensils. I'll definitely be staying there when I next go back. Well done Kirsty/Penny for creating such high calibre accommodation in a dream location.
