Self check in was super easy and on our time. Host provided a code to a lock box in advance, and we had access to the apartment as soon as we arrived. The apartment is very well appointed, like a home away from home - there was nothing that we were left “wanting”. Walking distance to the beach and centre of Mt Maunganui township.

The mattress in the main bedroom is very firm. Just a heads up for anyone who may need to consider back issues. However there is also another bed in the sunroom with a regular mattress so don’t let this put you off. This is a *very* minor thing and did not affect our enjoyment or time in the apartment.
