The room was a good size with balcony. There is a roof terrace and kitchen.

It was fine for us but useful for some to be aware that there are a few flights of stairs.

No private bathroom

Secure, clean, and with the best location. The room was a decent size with a balcony. The neighbourhood was surrounded by shops and eateries. About 400 metres to the main station with train and buses. Breakfast provided every morning in the communal kitchen.

As my room was by Main Street, it can be noisy at night. Perhaps ask for the back room for a quiet night.

I spent a week here and honestly had a wonderful stay. If you’re looking for a truly Sicilian experience, this is the place. It’s right in the center of Palermo, so everything is close by, and you really feel part of the city. The host, Giuseppe, is incredibly kind and welcoming. He serves a delicious breakfast every morning and is always quick to respond to any message—really does his best to help with anything you need. The building is a typical little Palermo neighborhood, with friendly local neighbors and lots of plants in the courtyard, which gives it a very warm and homey feel. My room was always super clean, and although the bathroom is shared, I almost always found it free and spotless—honestly, it felt like it was just for me. One thing to keep in mind: the street outside is quite busy, and Palermo is a lively city, full of energy and sound—beautiful, but loud. So if you’re a light sleeper, it’s a good idea to bring earplugs. The rooftop terrace is a real bonus—such a peaceful spot with an amazing view of the mountains. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
