K wave Guesthouse Only Female in Hongdae 1

I had an absolutely great time! The place is minimalistic in design but offers all the necessary facilities like washing machine/dryer, hair dryer, fridge, and microwave. It's very clean, the staff make sure that the place is cleaned daily and you can feel that they do take care of the place and their guests. The communal area is not big but a nice place to hang out with other travellers. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have met! They always have a great smile for you and helpful advice. The location is fantastic, very close to 2 metro stations. And of course the area is fabulous. Lively, youthful, many great cafes, restaurants, and shops around. I stayed in 2 different rooms, 2-bed and 4-bed, the 4-bed room offers much more luggage space. The lockers are a decent size, not big enough to store your main luggage, but perfect for your valuables. The beds are quite generous in size, comfy, and private, with power outlets and fairy lights. Slippers and 2 small towels are provided, and they're changed daily. The toilet is situated outside of the main area in the main staircase hallway, it's ok during the day, just another door you have to open, but when you're half asleep it's an adventure ;) There are two showers and the shower space is a bit tight but doable! It can get very steamy inside :) Both the area and the hostel felt very safe. The atmosphere was great and I really liked it there and I'd stay again!

The interior was really clean, and the male bosses cleaned every day! The bed was also a highly privacy capsule type, so I was very satisfied! There are two near subway stations, so it was easy to go anywhere. I recommend it to female travelers alone for its cost-effectiveness. The owner cooked vanilla latte and ham egg toast for the guests in the morning ! I’ll visit again for next time.

The place was modern, clean and beautiful. Didn't expect it at all especially for the price. Also the location is perfect! There are lots of restaurants near by. Also, traveling alone, it felt safe too!

You have to go outside the apartment to use the toilet but it is what it is.

Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place seems very clean and the beds are comfortable with their own power source, lights, and shelves. It is in a great area with a lot of little food shops and close to Red Road, but not right in the party area. Access to the bus and metro is easy. The place felt safe.

Cons: This is the tightest space I have ever lived in. To get to my locker I had to step over someones bag and then push it back. There was not enough room for my bag to be on the floor so I had to place it on the locker, my bag wouldn't fit in the locker - no one's did. If I wished to open my bag it would take up the whole free room on the floor. It was easier for me to pack in the eating area. The lights in the room go off, but they have fairy lights that they keep on, if you don't have an eye mask this may keep you up. Even with my mask it disturbed me. Also, someone in the room turned the air con to 26 degrees in the middle of the night (over 78 degrees F). While this isn't the staff's problem, they may wish to post a rule about the temps in the room. I woke up sweating and could not get back to sleep. The showers are very small as well.

This was my first stay at the guest house and a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and responsible. The room was clean & comfy. Love it.

Brand new hostel in an excellent location between Hapjeong and Sangsu subway stations. Very clean and great touches like slippers and breakfast included. The guys running the place are awesome, very friendly, polite and helpful.

The location conditions are very good, and most of all, the internal facilities are newly established, so it's very clean. It's very close to Hongik University Main Street on foot. The shower room is not big, but the facilities are clean enough. And water pressure was good ! male staffs are stationed at the reception at night. So safe! They are very kindness.

I loved it. Everything was clean and clean. The staff service was nice, especially the coffee and bread in the morning. I really want to stay again next time~~♡♡♡
