K wave Guesthouse Only Female in Hongdae 1

Clean, could check in at all times, very close to Hongdae.

Shower stalls were extremely tiny. I couldn't even close my shower curtain because I didn't fit, so I had to shower with the curtain pulled back and hope no one walked in during my shower.

Okay if you stay for a night or two but it's difficult to recommend this place for longer stays. Probably just my terrible luck that I had some inconsiderate housemates during my stay. Location is great if you're up for some Hongdae partying (Hongdae Club Street is within walking distance). Clean, and the receptionist is friendly. The area felt safe to walk around at night. There's a lift within the building but not at the nearest subway exit, so that's a point to note if you're traveling with heavy and bulky luggage.

The shower room is way too small for a guesthouse of this capacity and size. There's only one shower room, and it's further divided into two cubicles with barely enough space to move around. Theoretically, two people could shower at the same time since there are two cubicles, but it's really awkward because the space is so small and, in my opinion, quite uncomfortable. The toilets aren't in the shower room; they're in a separate room outside the guesthouse (at least they were kept clean during my stay).

The staff will provide some assistance

The bathroom is too small and there is not much room for washing. People who stay need to have a consensus and stagger the time spent using each other. There are many Chinese here, so as soon as you see you will speak Chinese and wear shoes into the room, even if the shoe closet is already configured next to the door. Because of the bad sound insulation, you can still hear the sound of public space outside the door at night, most of the time in Chinese 🫠 During the stay there were encounters because other occupants were unwilling to remember the gate password locks that led to a whole night without staff, the gate was unlocked and ignored the safety of everyone who stayed. The next day, the staff asked to learn that it was "someone" who told the door locks that they were inconvenient to use, so the staff closed the door without authorization. I was very much asked to reopen the door that night.

The place is super clean. It is close to Daiso and Olive young and one station away to the airport railway. Most importantly you can meet a lot of pretty souls in here.
