Hostel A Casa da Árvore

Good location on quiet street about 5 mins walk from town center, host was very communicative, friendly and flexible, place was very clean and comfortable, if you needed anything, like clothes line to dry you stuff, sunscreen, parasol or fan in room, it was there or easily provided by Rui. Higlhy recommend

The most wonderful host and the loveliest place we could have wished for! Rui (the host) is the most welcoming, sweet, helpful and positive person, who provides his guests with everything (literally everything), they can possibly need. If we brought nothing with us - we would be perfectly fine. Make-up remover, cotton pads, lotions, sun screens, toothpaste, beach umbreallas, and tons of other things. Also - fully stocked fridge with water, beer, chocolate milk, chocolate bars... The room was large, fresh, lovely, the bathroom super clean. I could write much more about this great place, but I'm not sure how much space I'm allowed here. We didn't want to leave. My daughter and I loved every bit of our stay there. Nothing not to like.

It has a space outside to chill and kitchen to use whenever needed. The place is also central near everything like the supermarket. Close to the ferry to go to the beach too.

The host was very friendly and accommodating, lovely and cozy space, would definitely recommend!

I had a great stay at Hostel Árvore, it was clean and everything one needs was there, including a little kitchen with coffee machine and some snacks. I felt safe as an alone travelling woman. The city centre and the harbour was easy reachable by foot.
