The Rose Hotel Trà Vinh

Room was clean, and home-maker staff were good. Hotel is still new.

Receptionist were not pleasant and didn't pickup the phone to assist customers during the night. Very bad smell at the front of the hotel and around the coffee shop area, maybe it came from rain sewage.

Street noise impacts rooms at the front of the hotel . Female staff were pleasant and helpful. Male staff member at reception was rude and unhelpful.

The rooms were modern clean and comfortable.

On arrival we were told that the cheaper rooms we had booked were for some unknown reason not available. We had to pay extra for a more expensive room even though that wasn’t what we’d booked. If the cheaper rooms were no longer available we should have been given the more expensive rooms without being charged. This was not a very welcoming first impression of the hotel . We felt rather ripped off.

The staff in particular, quietly efficient with any request. The rooms where squeaky clean.
