Donington Cottage Apt 6

Loved the location. The decor and the kitchen were great! Good powerful shower. Instructions for finding it and the lockbox were great too. Lovely little apartment. Even the cleaning lady was friendly.

The £100 deposit could be better publicised, rather than lower down in the T's & C's.The bed was soft and uncomfortable for two. Probably better for a solo traveler. No freezer compartment in the fridge and no recycle bin at the property.

Beautiful property, excellent location and ample off road parking!

It was in an ideal situation for getting to places in the area (Derby, Nottingham, East Midlands Airport and major roads( M1). Served by excellent bus services and within walking distance to the small town centre and an Aldi and Co-op. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a fridge, washing machine and full oven. There was plenty of crockery cutlery and pans. The bathroom was compact and the shower efficient. Towels provided and a ‘washing up’ pack. Help was on hand with questions by emailing or messaging the owner.

The bed was small 3/4 size and the bedroom was cramped. There was a wardrobe and drawers and a mounted TV. The bathroom flooring was a bit jaded and skirting boards in need of a lick of paint. There were no comfortable chairs to sit on, only 2 kitchen chairs. There was a parking area at the back which was very steep and some parking places at the front of the property which were available but often full. The corridor lights didn’t work and it was a bit precarious at night, especially as there was a step up to get into the staircase area.

Road is next to bedroom. Very noisy even during night. Especially early mornings.

We didn't stay and booked alternative accommodation. This property is more suited to the younger market, it has no living room just a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. We thought with it being advertised as an apartment it would have a living room space. For younger people it would be ideal but for us oldies it wasn't suitable.

Property was very central for local bus services restaurants and bars. Bed was very comfortable and all was very clean inside the Property.

The location of this property was really convenient for the purpose of our stay. It was exactly what you we needed and staff were so proactive and attentive.
