Spacious apartments for group of friends, in the middle of the city center.

Bearing in mind that I was a guest in this Apartment Hotel before, I have noticed that room condition and equipment has been changed. Kitchenette equipment is in much worst condition than before. This is really minor investment. I had to ask for garbage bags on the reception, got two, one was used before for something (not garbage). Than I just went to Svalbardbutikken and bought 20 pieces package. The rest was left in the apartment. Also, the pan was in catastrophic condition, with lots of scratches. Dangerous for use. Than I also bought a new one worth 200 NOK and left in the apartment for future guests. Advice for Hotel Svalbard Lodge, please check the kitchenette equipment and its condition. It means a lot when you stay in apartments. Invest a little to renew the equipment in the apartment.

Very good location, size of room, comfortable bed. Good appliances, well equipped

Poor not enough pillows, no room cleaning services during our 3 night stay, not inexpensive, poor ac adaptor plug locations, slippery bathroom specially when stepping out of bathtub, no safety handles, Steps on stairs steep, no intelligent tv

Beds in smaller room were tiny.

We loved this place! We were traveling with 6, and the two bedroom apartment was such a good option. The kitchen was wonderful in a place with pretty expensive restaurants but a great grocery store.

The location, the staff and the room were all great.

The noise from the bar on Friday and Saturday night was awful.

Good to have an apartment in Longyearbyn because restaurants are so so, and expensive. This apartment is 50m from the supermarket. Good beds, dishwasher, laundry machine. All very handy. Good with two separate bedrooms.

Longyearbyn is expensive and this place is not an exception. We enjoyed, but the furnishing is pretty basic given the roughly 500 USD 7 night cost.
