IVY - Classical & modern apartment in lovely neighbourhood near beach

Het vriendelijke onthaal. Ze bakte heerlijke koekjes voor ons. Ze reageert onmiddellijk. Het appartement is heel gezellig en mooi ingericht. Het is de woonplaats van de gastvrouw. Hou hier rekening mee. Het is een appartement dus ‘s avonds hoor je wat gestommel maar niet storend. Het ligt kortbij de fietsenverhuur, leuke restaurantjes, bakker en supermarkt. Eén bed is 180cm, het andere 160cm en lijkt ook wat korter.

Die Eigentümerin ist freundlich.

Was mir nicht klar war / nicht ersichtlich aus der Unterkunftsbeschreibung, die Eigentümerin wohnt in der Wohnung selbst und hat uns diese für ein Wochenende überlassen. Der Kühlschrank war voll mit angebrochenen Lebensmittel, sodass kaum Platz vorhanden für unsere Lebensmittel. Desweiteren waren die Sachen im Kühlschrank stellenweise im schlechten, unfrischen Zustand, was nicht einladend war, um überhaupt da unsere Lebensmittel aufzubewahren. In der Dusche und Schränken - kein Platz f unsere Sachen. Wir haben aus den Koffern gelebt. Die Sauberkeit lies stark zu wünschen übrig; Tierhaare auf den Möbeln, Ameisen in der Wohnung. Trotz des netten Empfangs der Gastgeberin würden wir nicht nochmal kommen.

The apartment was the perfect fit for us and our friends. It’s located 15’min out of town in a friendly and nice area.. the flat has two separated rooms, perfect for two couples. It has a large living room, lots of space filled with thoughtful and colourful interior, super comfortable with a lot of plants - we felt like home! The host was more than welcoming, she gave us her home, we got some home made cookies and she was helping us with whatever we had in mind.. If I had to think of something what wasn’t 100% ideal it’s the water pressure in the shower, but that’s my personal claim.. all in all 11/10 :)

Very lovely and comfy Apartment!

Lovely apartment in a very cosy neighbourhood. The city is easily reached via tram (stop at the end of the street), and you are close to Kijkduin beach. We had a great weekend, the place immediately felt homey.

Merel is an exceptional host. She made us a welcome cake, let us use her kitchen, and pantry. Her place is absolutely gorgeous! Walkable to grocery and pubs, and a short ride to the beach and major attractions. My family loved her home. Thank you so much for sharing with us! We would visit again in a heartbeat :D

Cozy, spacious and very well equipped state of the art apartment in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach. Tram stop to the centre close by. We felt at home immediately, the owner was very friendly and welcoming, she even baked us a delicious cake.

Everything was great

A charming place with character and style in a wonderful location. Merel is a very welcoming host and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. I’d gladly spend more time in this apartment.

One can always find things to improve like the shower and the toilet rooms could be more spacious but they are useful as they are.
