Love Nest in Blue Ridge

We loved the quietness and relaxation. Beautiful weather!

The bed was a softer than we are accustomed to.

The keyless entry ,the privacy and the cabin felt like home away from home.

The scenery, the smell of the air felt cool and fresh, and the natural sounds of the forest.

Hot tub was broken. Recommend 4 wheel drive cars and all wheel drive cars only.

There were so many dead flies in the cabin and so many were flying around still so we wasted so much time killing them and picking up dead flies. The hot tub was not working properly and they didn’t even tell us what button was not working so again we wasted time to figure out how to turn off the tub since the host did not even reply to us until the next day. Contacted the host after the stay asking for a partial refund and they just completely ignored us.

We enjoyed the home and the nature setting, saw some deer and mostly peace and quit.

the hot tub was a bust. the first night it was extremely hot and there was 6 inches or some of suds from the chemicals. I did ask about the temp control and was told to look in the closet, I did look but did not dare try to adjust anything. the next day it was all but cold as well as that evening and the morning before we left. The TV service in the book said Dish or DTV was available (don't remember which) but neither was. There were several switches and a dimmer that did not seem to control anything, the remote, once I found it, did not control the outdoor ceiling fan. That slight breeze would have made all the difference on a hot day, so we were limited to early morning and late evening to sit outside. The Road (Left Turn) was terrible, the sign states "drive 20 MPH" to be able to make it up the gravel rd. while avoiding the ruts and holes. Then my car would bottom out when I turn into the driveway. I would not rent this residence again
