Love Nest in Blue Ridge

Spacious, nice view. Second best cabin we have ever rented.

Nice cabin with beautiful views, convenient to the town of Blue Ridge. Nice deck/ balcony, partially covered, with swing, rockers, table with chairs, and a gas grill. Fire pit with chairs.

Not as secluded as I would have liked.

The view of the sun coming up was nice.

The mold that we saw. There is mold on the ceiling in the kitchen. If you look up, you will definitely see it and also on the floor in the room where the hot tub is. The shower had some sort of nastiness on the side of the outside of the tub. Trash was left on the balcony, and the balcony sits up very high and some of the wood is coming up, and we seen pickets apart from the nail, causing the pickets of the porch not to be secure.We were scared to walk on it or get to close to the edges where the pickets had come apart in the corner close to the porch swing area . If a pet or child got too close to those areas, they could fall through all the way down and could get hurt very badly. Hopefully, this will be fixed before the next person rents out this cabin. I sent messages to the owner telling her about the mold and balcony problems. I saw other reveiws have complaints of their on. The owner is very nice but is evidently not being informed about her property, or maybe she is, I don't know. I just know what we saw and experienced. If you don't have mold sensitivity and don't mind spiderwebs and musty smells, then you should be fine. Just watch out for the balcony so your child or pet doesn't get hurt around the parts that need to be repaired because it sits up so very high. We will definitely not be returning back to this cabin. The owner texted me saying she would return to me the cleaning fee due to the situation of not being happy at all about my stay and told me she did, in fact, have a leak at the cabin last year. I have asked when she will be crediting back the $125.00 back to my account, but she no longer answers. I hope she follows through with what she says . After eyes burning and face itching and all the coughing from being exposed to the environment of this cabin, it seems only fair that she would follow through with what she said she would do under the circumstances. Will update if she does make things right or not.

The location was great , had a beautiful view . The stores and restaurants were near by.

The stove only had one temperature which was high so it was a bit difficult . Also the hot tub wasn’t hot or was a bit warm, but was still nice.

The grill outside literally caught fire due to lack of being cleaned and we had to use the fire extinguisher
