Cosy Cottage next to Farmers Arms Country pub.

Great for travelling through, lovely pub to have dinner in!

Beds were too soft for us and there were a few cobwebs!

Host was really helpful, location was great and the cottage was perfect. Food in the adjoining Farmers Arms Pub was excellent and I will certainly be back.

It would be nice to have a 'Breakfast' food pack option which guests could choose if desired.

Fabulous cottage, loved it. Warm, comfortable and everything you need for a short stay. We will definitely stay again. The bed was really comfortable and the place was clean and dry, no damp or smells. Also, the pub/restaurant is excellent.

It would be good to de-cobweb the rafters as there are a lot, other than that it was perfect. There is also some Road noise but that stopped later in the evening so no problem.

Just spent a stay at the Cosy Cottage at the Farmers Arms in Lower Apperley, and it couldn’t have been better. The cottage really lives up to its name—beautifully kept, quaint, spotless, and full of those little touches that make you feel instantly at home. It’s tucked right next to a classic country pub, so you get the best of both worlds: peaceful rural surroundings and great food and drink just a few steps away. The hosts were welcoming and genuinely attentive, without ever being intrusive. Everything was well thought out: a very comfy bed, immaculate bathroom, great shower, well equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and plenty of parking. It’s the ideal base whether you’re exploring Gloucestershire, heading into Tewkesbury or Gloucester, or just wanting to switch off for a night or two. A charming place with real character—highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
