Cosy Cottage next to Farmers Arms Country pub.

It was a very cosy cottage and loved the layout. Lots of parking and very close to pub and dog walks.

Would have like more of a garden to just pop the dogs into rather than having to walk them to the playing field. Although the dogs did enjoy playing with Freddy the pub dog.

Nothing

When we arrived the room hadn't been cleaned and the bed wasn't made. We alerted the landlord who said she would fix it and clean it. We then got back four hours later and nothing had changed. The room hadn't been turned around. I then had to make the bed myself for my elderly father. The shower didn't work. There was no breakfast. There was no hand towel. At 10pm there was a knock on the door asking if the room had been turned over but, by this time, it actually disturbed my elderly father's sleep. There was minimal milk given and only half a toilet roll provided. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned. This really ruined my stay, I was so annoyed and disappointed and my elderly father was so perturbed that he hardly got any sleep himself. I'm so appalled.

Comfortable bed

Right next to loud fast road. Noise of cars and motorbikes kept me up and woke me up early. No noise insulation via windows as single pane. Also impossible to lock upstairs window, felt this was a huge safety risk as there were stairs leading up to the window. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving this open at night.

Everything was better than expected. No issues.

Lovely little cottage. Nice quiet location and has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and fresh....the fan was an absolute lifesaver as it was a warm night!
