The pool terrace was excellent and the room very comfortable.

The welcoming buffet was excellent but the rest of the meal didn’t meet the same high standard. Unfortunately I had a bad stomach from breakfast on the second morning although I only ate Birchers muesli and was then unable to keep anything else inside! Thankfully I was able to participate in all the excursions so only missed out on the meals but it took 4 days to pass! I reported it to the staff who were unbelievably unconcerned and it was the fellow passengers who kindly provided me with helpful medication.

Wifi is terrible Food hit or miss a lot of repurposed items . Need more variety Drinks are expensive

1. Excellent courteous staff throughout the boat. 2. Food choice was extensive, the restaurant manager ensured that something special was prepared for my wife & me at every meal, both of us being vegetarians. 3. The Egyptologist was extremely well informed and helpful all the way through. 4. House keeping was good, cleanliness & hygiene was of top notch standards. 5. The on board shop was well priced, we ordered Cartouche's for the family, must say he did a great job.

The only drawback was the lack of time at Edfu, the lines to enter early morning were long and we barely got any time at the site. Other than that its a great cruise.
