Peaceful Forest Cabin - Hot Tub, Relax & Explore

Amazing place. Would recommend.

Parking is tight and hot water issue on our 2nd day til check out.

Located in a quiet gated neighborhood, simple living aesthetic and decor are welcoming and warm. The fireplace and having a jacuzzi tub in each bathroom were both nice amenities. My kids loved the outdoor games that were there to enjoy!

The hot tub had to be cleaned before using and the game table did not work as advertised in the photos which was a bummer. Overall 9.7/10

It's a steep climb once in the main gate but boy is it worth it! It's peaceful,quiet and nothing but the beauty of nature. When we arrived there was a water issue but by no means was it because of the owner. He made us aware before we got there and even gave us a some of our money back because of the inconvenience. The owner was wonderful and helpful. He replied back to questions or any issues we had right away. Absolutely love the way we were treated and how everything was handled in such a quick manner. We even had an issue with the frying pan and the owner ordered new ones and had them delivered that day! The place was really a home away from home our family enjoyed it in this cabin so much we didn't want to leave. We had the beautiful peace of the mountains but we're still very close to tons of events/shows/restaurants. The house was very clean ,cozy and homey inside. It had so many things in the kitchen to use so cooking was so easy and I didn't have to bring anything but food. I can honestly say we didn't need much at all,the kitchen even included a Keurig with assortments of flavored k cups. I loved that they already had the Christmas tree up. They leave it bare with just the lights so you can put your own decor on and enjoy it while you're there. My advice in the future would be to tell your renters if they really enjoyed the place to show their gratitude. Maybe they could purchase an ornament and leave it on that tree for the owner instead from each visitor then they can keep adding til the entire tree is full....but that's just my way of thinking. 😁 All and all we absolutely loved this place other than the beds. They felt brand new but too new if that makes sense.

I wasn't crazy about the water but we also have well water at our home so we're kind of used to dealing with it. So we didn't get to enjoy anytime in the jetted tubs, but part of that could have also been due to the water issue that happened right before we got there (slight discoloration in the tub water and odor in the hot tub)... But when it's up in the mountains like this and there is well water there's only so much they can honestly do. The owner did tell us to take the lid off the hot tub an hour or so before getting in and that would help calm down the smell and it did for the most part.

Nice drive for parking, nice hot tub, nice inside the cabin plenty of kitchen stuff, clean place. Would stay again !
