The place is a perfectly nice apartment rental

For nearly 1000 euros a night you get more comfort and access to amenities in a hotel, and probably pay less.

The apartment is in a ground-floor house, the bed was excellent, the room was big enough, the furniture good, the kitchen also good. The bathroom was in good condition and clean. The door code makes unnecessary to get contact with the owner or caretaker, which is practical if we cannot arrive at a defined time in the afternoon (because of long driving or plane delay, etc.). The private parking place is under a roof and it is also a great advantege.

The area is not a Cartesian system, the streets are winding, the houses are scattered randomly, so it is not at all easy to find the address. A local map would be highly recommended.
