Chan-Kah Resort Village

Es un hotel muy bonito, muy cómodo y la piscina es grandiosa. Además los alimentos en el restaurante son deliciosos

Die Lage ist fußläufig zu den Pyramiden. Es ist mitten im Dschungel und der Pool ist herrlich.

Das Restaurant ist leider zu viel zu teuer. Es gibt im Bungalow keinen Kühlschrank. Wir sind 4 Minuten mit dem Auto in den Ort Palenque gefahren. Dort kann man zu vernünftigen Preisen essen und trinken.

Falta limpieza por los caminos de las instalaciones.

Super Lage, Zimmer sehr geräumig und alles trotz älterem Bau Datum sehr gut gepflegt.

Das tiefe Poolbecken hat nichts zum Einsteigen. Für ältere Menschen sehr beschwerlich ins Wasser zu kommen.

We stayed in a double room which had two double beds, so it was very spacious. The room was very clean and comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was that it is within the jungle, so howler monkeys can regularly be heard very close to the rooms / restaurant, which is an incredible experience!

Main negative about this hotel is access to water - tap water in Mexico is not drinkable, and there are no shops near this hotel, so your only choice is to buy water from the hotel bar which costs 80 pesos for a litre, which is very expensive. I understand that water is not easily supplied, but the high price feels like intentional profiteering. Especially in such a hot climate of >30°C which requires drinking many litres of water a day. We stayed in 3 other places in Mexico which was all cheaper per night than here, and they all supplied free drinking water. One trick we used was that the entrance to the Palenque Ruins has water fountains which are accessible even before buying tickets to the site, and this is around a 15min walk away from Chan Kah, so we would encourage others to fill up bottles there rather than pay Chan Kah's extortionate price.

Naturaleza, sonido inmersivo con los monos aulladores. Habitación grande, jabon y consumibles de baño muy bien.

Muy poca iluminacion en el camino a la habitación. Salvo sea el concepto para no ahuyentar la fauna lo entiendo. Te dan muy poco hielo si lo solicitas a recepción. Precios altos en cualquier consumo o servicio (enfocados al turismo internacional).
