Apartment Carvoeiro By The Sea 2 by Algarve Vacation

The rooftop garden but it was 3 flights of stairs further up. Its position was great being 500 yards from the beach.

The flat was down an unlit alleyway. There was a noisy bar underneath our “balcony “ which was open till well after midnight. We have a video with sound available. There was no working sockets in the main bedroom or hallway. There was No view at all. The doorway into the flat the lock didn’t work. We had to chase to get a key to get access. The 3rd bedroom had no windows at all. On the final day we couldn’t get into the building at all to access our luggage. There was a refrigeration unit on all night outside the 1st and 2nd bedroom windows making uninterrupted sleep impossible.

The only good thing about this apartment was the location. Right in the very heart of Carvoeiro

The management company were poor to say the least. Between booking this apartment and actually arriving to stay (we only booked 2 days prior) I received about 25 emails - pure madness. The girl who met us to give us access gave us a whirlwind tour of the apartment and then spent the rest of the time trying to sell us boat trips. We actually couldn't find the washing machine and had to contact them to find out where it was (behind a hidden wall) The outside area was nothing like the photos! The area was dirty was ashtrays full of used cigarettes and very little furniture. The worst part though, was the smell. As soon as we arrived we were hit with a stench that stayed the whole time we were there. I reported it to the management company and they told me to open the windows... It was ridiculous! We had actually booked a different apartment originally, but we were moved and I cant help thinking the original apartment was even worse...
