Grand Central House - Classic Two Bedroom - GibraltarStay Apartments

Grand Central House is a hidden gem in the centre of Gibraltar. The apartment was spacious for 3 adults and 1 child, with excellent facilities. The apartment was extremely clean and well maintained. The beds were really comfortable, and the building was very quiet. The staff are exceptional and often go above and beyond to make your stay really enjoyable. They provide outstanding service and gave recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. I have stayed at Grand Central on 3 separate occasions with each visit exceeding my expectations. Would definitely recommend Grand Central House as the go-to stay in Gibraltar.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We were able to leave our bags in the storage room and the room was ready slightly earlier. The bags were already in the room when we came back. That was a very nice touch. Communication via messages was also good.

A lot of noise was coming from the street and the apartment above ours. Constantly moving furniture, we were not sure what it was, even after 12am. There was nowhere to dry our towels or clothes, even small items. There was no kitchen towel or paper towel, we were not sure whether to ask for it or buy it. In the end we picked one from cleaning lady's bag. No air-conditioning, only fans in every room which is fine until you want to close the windows to avoid noise and it's not possible. Bathroom could be cleaner, there was black long hair on the walls and in one of the drawers.

The fans were tricky to use and we had to keep the paper tubes out otherwise the room would just heat up. Also would have been handy to have a dish rack and maybe some kitchen towel (or tea towel) for the guests to keep the place clean. Other than that the place was very comfortable.
