The Wharfe - Cosy, comfortable retreat

Loved how it was like home from home. Very clean. Everything you needed (apart from an iron) The extra touches were lovely. Stunning views

Loved our stay at the Wharf at Greystones. Accommodation very clean. Richard and Vicky very helpful. Excellent location with walks in every direction. Very handy for Dales Way. Fabulous pub serving great food literally over the road and a 30 min lovely scenic walk along the river to another pub serving fabulous food in Hubbleholme. Everywhere is dog friendly too! Walk up to Buckden Pike is not to be missed and starts right over the road. We absolutely loved our stay… everything was perfect… including the weather!!

Comfortable and well equipped

Quite small but cosy

This apartment was so lovely, right at the foot of Buckden peak and other fantastic walks. The pub just across the road served amazing food. We spent a lovely week here and would definitely go back! Hosts were welcoming and really helpful (got a really good recommendation for a car garage nearby). There was complimentary milk, biscuits and other items in the kitchen with toiletries in the bathroom.

The only thing that we slightly missed was a little bit more room for our toiletries in the bathroom (eg a shelf). But this was really minor and we otherwise loved everything!

Location and the scenery were beautiful. We felt really comfortable and at home in the room and wouldn't think twice about visiting again!

Such a lovely homely feeling place. The hosts are wonderful, so friendly, kind and attentive. They have some great recommendations for walks. It was the perfect base for some beautiful walks. We loved that they already had the essentials like tin foil, cling film, milk etc. The kitchen was very well equipped and it was lovely to see some sanitary products provided in the bathroom. The bed is extremely comfortable, so it was perfect to come back to after a long walk. It was lovely to have an electric heater and a clothes airer to dry out our wet clothes too. Overall just a fantastic place to stay.
