Quarry Cottage near Hawes, Yorkshire Dales, Pet free

Gorgeous little cottage - cosy and homely. Wish we could have stayed longer. Perfect for our little family. Quiet location with a lovely view. Quick drive to Hawes. We loved the adventure of the walk across the sheep fields into the village of Hawes, but with a small child, I was glad to have the car as well! Comfiest beds ever!!

It was perfect for us and we'd definitely book again, but if you're arriving late, a quick tip - all shops/conveniences in Hawes shut at 6, so if you don't want a 20 minute drive out after you arrive, bring some provisions!! (Our hosts had kindly left tea, coffee, and nice biccies)!

This wonderful cottage was renovated about a year ago. It was beautifully done with quality items and extremely comfortable furniture. Much thought obviously went into the project. The WIFI signal was very good and although we had some initial difficulty connecting, Andy responded very quickly to our message about needing help. The entire cottage was absolutely immaculate and thoughtful items were provided.

There wasn't anything we didn't like but it's good to know that there's nowhere in the tiny village to get essential food items so be sure to arrive with what's needed.

Everything but especially the comfy bed, the good shower and the house was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect too and just a short walk into Hawes through some fields.

Parking in the village is a bit tricky but there is nothing that can be done about that.

The cottage was beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. The location was great, within easy travelling distance of all the northern Dales has to offer. Numerous, lovely walks from the door, local views superb.

Quarry Cottage is a little gem. I have stayed in lots of holiday lets over the years and found this to be perhaps the nicest and cleanest cottage I have visited. It is such a cosy little haven of peace. It is newly renovated so everything feels fresh and clean and the facilities all modern. The owners have thought of everything to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is fabulous. Just off the beaten track but only 5 minutes down the road from Hawes. On our first evening we drove left up the road for a couple of miles to see Semer Water at sunset, just beautiful. The whole area is stunning and is just made for exploring. I would definitely stay here again (or move in if they would let me 🙂).

Not a complaint but the TV kept shutting down

well equipped, beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Everything we needed was to hand and every little home comfort had been provided.

A mirror in the bedroom would be useful for drying hair, make-up, etc., as the mirror on the landing is too far away for the hairdryer cable.

This property was immaculately clean and refurbished to a very high standard with quality fittings, furniture and appliances.

Not having to cycle up a steep hill when we returned to the house! :-)

it was very comfortable, well furnished , clean and beds were a pleasure to get into. The decor looked professional and everything one could need was there. The information booklet was comprehensive and there were plenty of maps, books and leaflets to help us.

There were no downsides.
