The lodge was beautifully decorated and so cosy, the beds were super comfortable, and the outside area on the decking was just amazing. Everything we needed was there. Including having WiFi and lots of TV channels to watch when we were relaxing on an evening. But the location is just incredible, what a beautiful quiet place in nature. I honestly could have stayed there forever.

The chalet is quite high up on a hillside which for some elderly people would maybe a problem

Great location clean spacious lodge with everything we required.
My son complained that the mattress in his single bed had a big dip in it which gave him a sore back and a few uncomfortable nights sleep. It needs replaced asap. Its the bed on the left hand side of the bedroom as you enter the bedroom facing the walkway.

The location was good. A few issues regarding lights, shower but they were rectified. The lodge was comfortable.
The veranda to the front door of the lodge was very dangerous and slippery due to the rain. Handles in the shower would be a good thing. It would help disabled issues.

Fantastic site. Beautiful grounds and facilities at Kippford site. Well done to the guys maintaining the grounds. Beautiful shrubs and landscaped areas. Very well kept and gorgeous plants. Plenty of shops nearby. Parks and things for kids to do in nearby Dalbeattie. On site activity areas for wee kids and big kids. Lovely beach walks nearby too. Cabin was fantastic. Huge. Plenty of space and everything you would ever need. Definitely booking again to go back. Loved it.

The Lodge was great, the setting was so peaceful and secluded. It was spacious and comfortable. The lodge had everything that we needed. We were able to completely relax in a lovely setting. The birdlife was amazing, our daughter identified 15 species of birds using Merlin app while sat on the veranda. We will definitely be coming back.
