Location.

Booked the two bedroom layout. One of the beds smelled like urine. The manager came in and ‘claimed’ not to smell anything when the smell was very strong and could be noticed throughout the room. The manager wanted to just change the sheets, however even with the sheets removed you can tell the smell is coming from the mattress. We asked for a refund (full or partial) or a different room, as well as contact the owner via email since there is no phone number- owner suggested we pay and go to the laundry mat to wash the sheets ourselves (not happening). They offered us a room that’s “not ready for guest yet” but no refund to stay elsewhere. We go into the new room which only has 1 bed but does have a kitchen unlike the original booking so we thought it would be okay. Go to use the restroom and kitchen sink and we find roaches coming out and used the available many cans of raid spray (indicating this is a reoccurring issue that we were not notified of). Was told we would get a refund at this point and checked out of the room thinking there would be no more issues. However booking.com notified us saying that the owner rejected the refund request. And now the owner wants to charge us for damages which I’m confused about. Overall not worth the “cheap” price, better off spending slightly more money somewhere with better reviews for your peace and comfort while vacationing.

The room wasn’t clean. The kitchen was dirty. Stronger smell of air fresheners. A huge gap under the door.

Enjoyed the fact there were plenty of pillows to rest on. The a/c worked well, but where it is positioned and how the beds are positioned makes no sense.

Not clean and out dated. Definitely could use space to unpack.

The location was decent. It’s got a nice view of the canal being on the 21st floor. The room is a decent size with two beds , tiny kitchen and bathroom. The pool deck is spacious with a pool and hot tub. About a 15 minute walk to Waikiki beach and a coffee shop and smart car rental place downstairs. If you rent a car there they only charge $20 for parking instead of the $40 per day

- The sun rises facing the property and the curtains are very thin so the sun will peak right at your face while you’re sleeping. The AC is also faced right against your face so can get quite cold. - There were some cockroaches crawling in the room near the kitchen and door. There’s a space at the bottom of the door so not sure if the cockroaches were coming through there - Property provides only 2 of each (body towel, face towel, hand towel) so expect to do laundry for longer stays - Property owner has bad communication skills which caused unnecessary stress even before arriving at the location and after.
