Townhouse at Eagles Nest, Southport, KZN south coast

When I got to the gate, I phoned the owner to tell him I arrived. He then tells me that somebody has already checked in and I came on the wrong day. I told him to double check his records because he is wrong. Thereafter, he tells me to take a drive and wait at the beach while he tries to find out what is happening. He phones me after a couple minutes and says he doesn't know how his place got double booked and he blamed booking.com. So I asked him if I could have a refund, his response was he does not have money to give me as he will only get paid a week after (does not make sense because why does he have to wait to get paid when I paid in advance for my booking). Also I did not have an option to cancel the booking on the app because I was supposed to check in on that day. He promised that he will refund me after a week and I did contact him after a week and he says he needs 1 more day to find out what's happening. I contacted him 2 days afterwards and he did not reply. I hope this review can help others not to choose this place when looking for accommodation. I drove 3 and a half hours from my home to this place thinking I was going to enjoy myself with my family and to get right to the property and have this problem is very unfair

It was a great stay. The unit was very comfortable, nice and spacious and has a beautiful view. Would have been nice to have been able to watch a movie or two on Netflix atleast and not just on youtube, especially for the kids. The stay was definitely worth it, we would book again.

Townhouse at Eagles nest Is really a gem 💎.....it's so beautiful and breath taking,the views were perfect. I booked very late ,but check in was so easy, David was readily available with just 1 phone call and everything was sorted for us. The place is sparkling clean and had everything we needed in the apartment. The fans were nicely working and kept the place cool as it was so hot .

Nothing, I wish we could have stayed more days.
