Location great for the Gower Pilgrimage

A very nice and well equipped cottage. Lovely village with walks straight from the cottage.

Upstairs was a bit hot.

On arriving at the Stable Cottage, I wasn't disappointed, the property and the location are just fantastic and the Stable is a beautiful old stone building at the Top of the Village Green with super views out over Llanrhidian Sands, and with a stable door too. Inside in the living quarters, it's so clean and bright and beautifully decorated, very modern and everything that you could possibly need. A lovely wooden staircase leads up to a spacious sleeping area with a WC & shower room that again was very clean bright, airy and with a very lovely comfortable bed too, just perfect. I even managed to lock myself out of the property for an hour, and it was beautiful sitting out at the garden picnic bench in the sun, enjoying the views and waiting on the host Gary, who I'd seen earlier taking Rosie the dog out for a walk, and on his return, Sharon had just arrived home from work and I met them both and they re-opened the door, and they're a lovely friendly couple and it was just great easily chatting with them.

To be honest I definitely liked everything about the Stable and can't complain.

This place was a hidden gem. A tranquil stay with everything I needed in a peaceful setting with beautiful views, which is just what I needed after a day of exploring the surroundings. It was warm and inviting with every little detail and full of comfort throughout. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially solo travellers like myself with a dog.

A gorgeous little cottage which was perfect for the night.

The location was perfect - easy to find off the main Gower road the cottage had parking outside to make our stay easier the cottage has everything you need including outdoor areas to sit and have a bbq - we didn't use this as it was April and not BBQ weather yet. There are 2 lovely pubs less than 50m from the cottage also - well worth a visit to both.
