It was a beautiful little cottage with great views, friendly local pubs & great with dogs. Wish we could have stayed longer. A very relaxing stay. Lovely to sit out in the little garden & enjoy the sea air. Bliss!

The only downside, if you can call it that, was there was no freezer compartment so I couldn't buy ice creams or freeze my food blocks for the journey home (but I'm sure Gareth & Sharon would have frozen them for me if I'd asked).

"Perfect for a couple with or without dogs as a base for exploring the Gower"

A compact little cottage that was perfect for our needs. The location is excellent for the ease of getting to anywhere on the Gower. Having 2 pubs just yards away is simply amazing. Ideal for good food and ale. We have booked to stay again

"A lovely cottage in a perfect location. Wonderful hosts. Ideal for a couple."

The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. The location is stunning, with incredible views over the estuary. The 'Stable' cottage is small but perfectly formed, with a sweet, sunny front garden and everything needed for a short stay. The dog was welcome too, which was a big factor in choosing the Stable. There are two great pubs within a stone's throw: one with a lovely garden and the other serving good food. The beaches on the Gower are world-class.

The (memory foam) mattress was very thin and not very comfortable.
