Tioman Cabana Bed & Breakfast

The beachfront location was perfect and so handy only being about an 8 minute walk from the jetty. Free breakfast as well as tea, coffee and water was fab. The staff were so friendly and helpful anytime I had a question. It was great being able to use snorkel equipment as part of my stay. I just wish the mattress was slightly more comfortable.

Amazing location right on the beach- uninterrupted views of the sea.

The property is in a beautiful location. Our room had the best view in the house with a gorgeous view across the ocean. It was an idyllic spot for sunset. The staff are friendly, fun and extremely helpful. The location is perfect with a restaurant at the property but with shops and further restaurants within walking, cycling or driving distance. I felt right at home here and would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a tropical dream holiday filled with relaxation and good vibes. There are options for snorkelling, scuba diving and other water based activities right on your door step. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would go back in a heart beat.

I appreciate that everything at the property is made from recycled or repurposed materials, however, it would be good to have some more comfortable seating for lounging around during the day and in the evenings.

Das Personal und das Essen ist gut und das Highlight ist die Lage des Restaurants, von wo man sehr schön aufs Meer schauen kann. Doch der Dorm war dreckig, die Bett Vorhänge haben nicht richtig gehalten, die Dusche ging nicht richtig und das ganze Bett war so durch gelegen. Das schlimmste ist, dass für sowas 16€ die Nacht verlangt wird. Für ein paar Euro mehr kriegt man schon wo anders ein privates Zimmer.

L’ambiance, le cadre, toutes les personnes qui y travaillent, le restau, le petit dej gratuit, les plongées, c’était génial! Si j’avais pu rester plus longtemps, j’y serai encore!

Moi ça ne m’a pas dérangé, mais par rapport aux autres commentaires : le dortoir peut sembler un peu roots mais il est propre, calme et climatisé (c’est l’essentiel!)

Wonderful people and atmosphere! Can't recommend it enough, and will come back when I have the opportunity. The vibe is just perfect. It's also right next to the beach. There's also a restaurant with good food and a fantastic view to the beach. They also have a dive shop where you can get your diving license or just go diving with an instructor if you don't have one. There's also free snorkeling gear! Last but not least, there are super cute cats fighting for your attention all over the place :) 🐈🏖️

The facilities aren't the greatest. The beds are very hard. The hostel dormitory is clean and spacious and has good AC. But that's about it, it's all very rudimentary and the bare minimum. It looks somewhat depressing; also there are no power outlets in the beds (but shared ones). But overall that's not a big deal and OK for the price.

Lage ist top, Personal ist sehr freundlich. Man kann sich ein SUP und Schnorchel gratis nehmen. Für Leute, die Tauchen wollen alles dabei und sehr günstig.

Im Dorm waren oben an den Betten Spinnennetze und die Decken waren sehr klein. Durch die AC wird’s Nachts schon kühl und dann friert man eher.

Great location. We lived right on the beach with gorgeous view of the ocean. Resort is right next to ferry station in the heart of Tekek village with easy access to cafes, stores etc. The beach is fantastic but if you’re looking for snorkelling it would be a wrong place as there are no corals around.

Room is quite tight. Basically it has only a bed and a little rack where you can put some stuff. No fridge, table, wardrobe, tea facilities. We have not realised that when booking so it came a little as unpleasant surprise.
