Please inform Tioman Cabana Bed & Breakfast in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of MYR 150 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Location was nice and aesthetic. Instagram friendly. Nice sunset view. Friendly and helpful.

Stairs. It was not appropriate, specifically for senior citizens and kids.

"Perfect for Young Adventurers!"

Room is basic but very clean. Perfect location at the beachfront with a house reef that is (albeit a little damaged at the shallower parts) teeming with life if one snorkels further out. Snorkelling masks, life vests, and SUP boards available to use for free. Staff were warm and welcoming, and we had a snorkelling boat trip as well as a discovery dive arranged easily - we spotted turtles and juvenile reef sharks that day! Equipments are in tip top condition. The bistro had the prettiest view and is great for lounging. Not to forget the complimentary breakfast too, which was convenient for us. 😊

Bear in mind the steep stairway to reach the bistro up top - good for young adventurers but may be unsuitable for some. Accessing the top bunk in our room proved a challenge too, as there was less than a metre clearance from the ceiling. And the room was dark. Perhaps it would also benefit travellers if soap were provided. But with all that said, we had a great time and will recommend this place to other travellers!

The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Everyday they checked on our well-being and initiated conversations with us.

The toilet wasn't clean. The spring of the bed was uneven causing the mattress to slant. The food could be better.

the proximity with the beach and the view from the restaurant and the free breakfast

Blackmail to get a good review and bad feeling with the managers... the materess was really not confortable, the blanket size was just enough for my legs and the pillow are really dirty and old, bad for 19 euros by night.

Amazing common area with the bar, great view on the sea, great that they give mask and tuba to snorkel in the sea

The dorm is really bad. No plug in the bed, no lights, broken curtains, very bad maitress, shower is constantly leaking which is annoying when you want to sleep. It’s also not clean. I stayed for 4 nights and didn’t see any staff in the room, the bathroom was packed with sand. Also all the staff was amazing except for one guy that was being a bit pushy with girls.
