Lovely villa set up high in the hills surrounded by olive and fruit trees, gorgeous accomodation and excellent host. Would recommend and will return.

The host is wonderful and very helpful. He doesn't speak English, but with the use of google Translate, everything was clear. The room is good and the breakfast was great! We also have had dinner (ask the host when this is possible and he will cook). This was great as well! Even much better than a restaurant! Don't be afraid of the dogs they are curious and playful. Thx for staying and would recommend this place.

Very kind and friendly owner, lovely dogs, and the most wonderful fresh breakfast using his own produce. The house was well situated just off the main road to Agrigento but felt secluded up on the hillside. The house was grand and the room was good.

You do need to drive down into Racalmunto to eat dinner, and there's really only one place to have dinner (pizza place on the main square). Which is fine as the food is good. Parking in Racalmunto was a bit challenging.

It was a unique experience that we were able to enjoy with Alberto. He is a perfect host. You can feel that he puts his heart and soul into it. You immediately feel at home. The accommodation is very nice, the rooms lovingly furnished and very clean. The breakfast is truly unique. It's in the back garden and beautiful. Apart from the fact that the breakfast is very generous and everything is fresh and homemade, Alberto really fulfills your every wish and is very accommodating. You simply feel completely at ease. I can really only recommend a stay there!

Wonderful expand stay would highly recommend to all my friends and family

The property was in an excellent location for a family wedding we were attending in Racalmuto. Very quiet & beautiful with a lovely view of the valley below. Alberto was an excellent host (Guisy was out of town but did keep in touch via messages) and the breakfast he made us every morning of our stay was delicious and fresh. He was also always available to open the door, even after returning very, very late from the wedding reception. To top it all off, he drove us to Canicatti to catch the bus to the Catania airport.

The one downside is our GPS did take us to the wrong house but that was easily corrected by the kind neighbors who advised us where the actual house was. The drive up to the villa (through the black gate) was a bit tricky but once you mastered that, it was fine.

Of all my stays during my tour of Sicily, this property was my absolute FAVORITE!!!! I will try to highlight a few: 1) An absolutely stunning room with high-quality linens and fixtures. 2) A picturesque property overlooking olive groves. 3) Friendly and welcoming hosts (and an absolutely adorable dog!) 4) A breakfast on the terrance with fruit picked from just feet away. I felt like I was living in a luxury hotel for the 2 nights I stayed at Villa Alessi! I would absolutely come back! An added note: I left an earbud and some other items behind, and the hosts dropped the items in the mail without any complaints.

Not a complaint but more of a heads up. The area is a valley where neighbors have outdoor dogs which "talk to each other". If you're a light sleeper, just be prepared and bring ear plugs. This was out of the hosts' control, and probably something that they are accustomed to. In no way was this a complaint about my stay.

Usually we hardly give the highest rating, but here we would give 11 stars. Beautiful villa 10 minutes drive from the Valley of the Temples and 20 minutes from the beach. There are 2 supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden. But the biggest plus is the owners family. We have always had very nice hosts in Sicily, but here we felt like we were visiting family. Their efforts to make our stay enjoyable were very sincere. Unbeatable breakfast according to our preferences including pancakes from the owners daughter.

The sofa bed was not very comfortable. We would have appreciated a refrigerator in the room. But these are just small things compared to the pros of the accommodation.
