Stay away from the place.

1. Literally a garage, or rather a shop by the street turned into a room. The apartment felt more like a converted garage or workshop, with a large storefront-style door that acted as a window. A curtain was the only thing separating the interior from the street. 2. Inside, water was leaking from the ceiling above the toilet, leaving the ceiling wet, and the sink was so tiny it was smaller than the ones on regional trains. 3. Sink smaller than in regional trains 4. The bedsheets looked like they had never been changed. They smelled bad and were covered with hair — it was disgusting. 5. The towel had a large stain on it that looked like blood or something similar. 6. Overall the apartment was terribly dirty. 7. There were miscellaneous wooden pieces or spare materials stored under the bed, which added to the overall messiness.

Apart from the fact that I had a place to stay, nothing else was okay. There was a total lack of service. Only the Wi-Fi worked well.

The owner was completely unreachable, leaving me outside for more than 9 hours. He did not answer calls or reply to any messages on the provided contact numbers. The service was unacceptable — I was forced to stay on the street because the door wouldn’t open and the access code didn’t work. Nobody informed me when or if the door could be opened. From late at night, when I arrived in Madrid, until 8:00 a.m. the next morning, I had to wait outside. Despite all this, no one even offered an apology. It was a total lack of service and completely unacceptable from the owner of this apartment, which was actually just a shop converted into a living space. Inside, you could hear every sound — water flushing from the neighbors above, noise from the street — and there was a complete lack of security. A totally failed experience and an expensive one for me.
