Mallards Barn on a rural farm

Peter and Jane were very welcoming and were very keen to make sure everything was Ok throughout our stay. Lovely big bath towels and beautiful quality linen. The welcome pack was really appreciated and we enjoyed all of it. Plenty of spacious parking immediately outside the barn.

Perfect location, hosts jane and peter were fantastic and knowledgeable of area, facilities and accommodation were first class ,cooking equipment was of a high standard, beds and pillows were the best we have ever slept on, a very nice welcome pack, we seen deer on the bank each day , swans, geese and ducks, and two lovely jack Russell's, will definitely go back again.

The property location was exactly as described and we enjoyed the relaxation destination, whilst being able to access the wider rural road network . The hosts were considerate, thoughtfully providing a welcome pack of fresh items and acknowledging constructive further recommendations, to enhance and improve the guest experience.

The Barn is Stunning ! Loved the light, airy open plan area . Beds were very comfortable . Views were amazing and loved watching the Animals . Would recommend and Book again myself .

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The hosts Jane & Peter were great at comms prior and during our stay. The place felt great and the views are fantastic (including two ponds with nesting swans and geese). Both bedrooms were very comfortable and super nice and quiet.

Very high quality barn conversion with lots of space, a lovely fully equipped kitchen, utility, and two bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room, and a separate bathroom. Everything you could possibly want from a holiday rental, and in a quiet farm location to add. Would not hesitate booking again when in the area, and for longer if we could.

Great location. Really liked the layout of the property. Warm and cosy. Had everything we needed. Really comfortable beds, quality linen and towels. Appreciated the welcome pack which enabled me to have breakfast before doing a food shop. The eggs from the chickens were delicious and the items such as oil, coffee etc were much appreciated.

It was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for a weekend away from everything. Close to Raglan, with its castle and farm shops. Easy to get to and to find. Lovely space for us and the dog for a few days.

Booking.com hides the information about fees for pets. There was a small surcharge, which is the sort of thing that dog owners are used to, but booking.com could make it easier and clearer to see the information.

The property was in the perfect location for our holiday. It is very quiet, yet a stone throw away to get to the main road - a few minutes drive from Monmouth, Abergavenny and we even made it to Hay on Wye (about 1 hour). Peter and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly and always nearby if anything is needed. The house was very spacious, warm and comfortable with everything needed for the perfect stay.
