A Casitta 2 Luxury Apartments

There is NO kitchenette- you wash dishes in the bathroom sink ! There were no instructions in English for the coffee or washing machine. When I pulled the bedroom external shutter up it was stuck up for whole of my stay . Communication with the host was timely and helpful, but at times a little frustrating.

Great location, fabulous to deal with and would happily stay there again and will be sure to recommend to family and friends. We were right in the heart of Taormina. The location instructions provided by Marco were so helpful.

It had running water.

Everything else. Stuff was falling apart. Dirty shower that wouldn’t drain properly, with cracked tiles. Moldy ac unit. Basement smelled like mold and vermin. Tv that doesn’t work. Window treatments that only cover half the window so light is beaming in onto your bed all night. The basement bed has a skylight right above with light beaming onto it all night. Makes no sense at all. Loud noise from restaurants and traffic happening literally right outside your door all night. Horrible experience. We were supposed to stay 4 nights but left the next morning. Horrible experience save yourself the trouble and do not book this place.

The location and the kitchen facilities

No privacy for sleeping. One toilet accessible only through one of the double sleeping areas. The air conditioning on the upper level (living/ kitchen/ bedroom) was inadequate for cooling the sleeping area,

The location was very good, the apartment was very close to everything.

When we arrived, we quickly realised there was no pool on site, which we were very disappointed. We contacted the owner as we thought we had booked an apartment with a pool. The owner explained that we could use a pool in a nearby hotel 10 minutes away with a fee of ten euro. I think this should have been clearly mentioned on booking.com. I would not have booked this place had i been made aware of this and I think it is quite expensive given that no pool was at the apartment.

The Location was great.

The air conditioning isn’t he top room was old and did not cool the room. There are not three seperate bedrooms, one is in the dining room/lounge area, one is downstairs in an open room and one single bed is next to the queen bed. The doors didn’t close in the toilet, there was not enough toilet paper . The appartment is not luxurious at all.

Very central, spacious apartment. Small terrace outside. We used the pool at the nearby hotel and the location/aspect are amazing. Owner was super helpful with queries.

The apartment is completely open-plan so although it sleeps 5, there aren’t 3 actual bedrooms. As a family, this didn’t matter for us but might for others. The location and space more than made up for it. The bathroom/shower was a little dated but I think the water shortage in the area didn’t help.

Be careful as once arrived they requested more money. Felt like it was a bit of a scam.

The property was in a good location and was lovely. However I thought I had booked for 2 people (me and my partner) and even in the correspondence before hand I made it clear i was arriving with someone as spoke in the plural. However once arrived they said I had only booked for one person and so asked for 500 euros extra which was more than what I had paid. This was very stressful and ruined the stay as there was no reason for the extra charge as no food or anything extra was provided. However I spoke to booking.com and there was nothing they could do as I had accidentally booked for one person on the app even though it is a two person apartment.
