NOBILI LIBARDI - VILLA BASEVI

What a great find! They are located in a pleasant residential neighborhood, across the river, So you must use a taxi or your car to commute to the opera arena. But it's well worth while. The house and the interiors are old world beautiful (with a story to go with). The furniture in the public area and our rooms were authentic, hand made and attractive. A large room with even a larger bathroom, all beautifully functioning and pleasant. Our hosts, Marika and Cesare were very gracious. These are very interesting people who are truly interseted in you as a customer and as a person. We're coming back next year.

De villa is zeer mooi gerenoveerd en in perfecte stijl ingericht. Het maakt de beleving van Verona perfect. De locatie is tevens briljant met maar een paar minuten lopen van het oude centrum. Daarnaast zijn de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

If you come to Verona and are lucky enough to have some of the apartments in this magical Villa available, the magic will be complete. Kind hosts, really beautiful Villa, everything so clean and tidy, amazing garden where you can drink coffee. A stay in the Villa will take you back to a time when life was peaceful and when beauty and elegance were the philosophy of life. Everything is walking distance. For every recommendation and we hope that next year we will be able to go to the Opera in the Arena da Verona from the Villa Basevi again.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this accommodation in Verona. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The place was exceptionally clean and extremely well maintained – you can tell that great care is taken to keep everything in top condition. The hosts were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Verona.

Great location with views of the lake and the hills and central in the Franciacorta area. Breakfast was outstanding - we counted 17 different types of fruit one morning. Loved the large room with expansive private terrace overlooking the lake. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Lovely hotel - in a neighborhood of stately homes with a sweet garden - perfect for escaping the heat. It was just a 7-8 minute walk to the center of the city, but I'm glad I stayed a bit out of the way. An easy walk to/from the Opera as well. Lovely and accommodating hosts too!
