We spent five wonderful days in this exceptionaly peaceful and welcoming place. Breakfasts were just luxourious! - Ana´s home made marmelades and perfectly prepared ham and eggs by Dirk!! The pool was perfect with a romantic view over the mountains to the sea... And we cannot forget Mitch - their lovely dog!

"Tranquil, welcoming, rustic!"

So tranquil, in a very special rustic mountain setting! The hosts, Annette and Dirk, are wonderful and very welcoming. Visiting with them and their adorable friendly dog Mitch was an unexpected highlight of my trip! And when I encountered a problem with my rental car in a nearby town, Dirk was very kind to give me a ride in order to meet the tow truck.

I liked the property. Travelers who are not comfortable with driving on a single-lane, rustic twisting road with ravines should be advised that there is a about 10 minutes of this kind of driving from the highway out of central Velez-Malaga.

"Fantastic relaxing break"

Dirk and Ana were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Very informative, there when you needed them but also gave you your own space. The house is in the most gorgeous location, spectacular views and so peaceful. A car is needed and the drive up and down a little nervy but ultimately was fine. Breakfast was very good and endless! They provide a bar service if needed at very reasonable prices. We loved sitting at night looking out at the stars and views with a drink. Lunch or supper can also be provided if needed. Would highly recommend Casa Montaña. Definitely will return.
